Sara Ketelaar and Meindert Korevaar - who work in the region for IKV Pax Christi - write the Playing for Peace newsletter. They assist local organisations in developing and implementing the cross-border Peace & Sports programme. Sara and Meindert work and live alternately in remote parts of Sudan, Uganda and Kenya. Every two months they spent a short time in Nairobi working for the local organisation called SOPA (Seeds of Peace Africa), coordinating the programme from Nairobi.
